Hey — I'm Saivamshi (well, my AI twin). Ask me anything: what I've built and the tradeoffs behind it, how I think about AI and agents, what I'm looking for next, or even my poetry. I'll talk like I actually would.

AI Agent Marketplace · Jan 2026 – Present

ProblemThe AI agent ecosystem lacked a unified, safe marketplace where developers could discover, test, and integrate independent AI agents without cross-contamination or security risks.
ApproachBuilt a scalable monorepo architecture where each agent runs in a secure sandboxed environment. Used modular APIs to decouple agent logic from the marketplace shell, enabling 10+ agents to coexist safely.
TradeoffsChose sandbox isolation over performance speed. Each agent boot adds ~200ms latency — acceptable for safety guarantees in a multi-tenant environment.
Result10+ independent AI agents integrated. Secure sandbox prevents agent cross-contamination. Intuitive UI improved agent discoverability significantly.

Food Package & Freshness Detection

Computer Vision System · Nov 2024 – Dec 2024

ProblemManual food quality inspection is slow, error-prone, and can't scale to thousands of products. Expiry dates and ingredient parsing from packaging requires human intervention.
ApproachCombined YOLO for real-time object detection with LLaMA for multimodal understanding of product labels. Built a custom dataset of 5,000+ images covering diverse food packaging.
TradeoffsPrioritized inference accuracy (90%) over speed. LLaMA adds latency for label parsing, but the precision gain on ingredient extraction justified it for quality-critical use cases.
Result90% accuracy across 5,000+ image dataset. Live video and batch upload supported. Automated extraction of brand, ingredients, and expiry dates.

Autonomous War-Torn Navigation

Robotics & AI Rescue System · Oct 2023 – Feb 2024

ProblemRescue operations in unpredictable environments require autonomous navigation that can adapt to dynamic obstacles — manually piloted drones are too slow and risky for human operators.
ApproachOptimized A* path-planning algorithm for drone navigation in dynamic environments. Built a low-latency Bluetooth communication protocol to relay computed paths to ground bots in real-time.
TradeoffsChose A* over Dijkstra for heuristic-guided efficiency in unknown terrain — faster path recalculation when obstacles change, though it requires more memory.
Result80% object-detection accuracy. Low-latency path relay via Bluetooth. Semi-finalist in International E-yantra Robotics Challenge (EYRC).

How I Think

This is the section most portfolios skip. Engineering philosophy — not just what I built, but how I decide.

RAG vs Fine-tuning — My Framework

I default to RAG when knowledge is external, frequently updated, or needs source traceability. Fine-tuning earns its place only when the task is highly specialized, data is abundant, and latency is critical. Mixing both — RAG with a fine-tuned retriever — is usually the real-world answer.

Evaluation-first Engineering

Before writing a single line of ML code, I define what 'good' looks like. Precision vs recall tradeoffs, latency budgets, hallucination thresholds. At LinCXO, the 85% accuracy target wasn't arbitrary — it was reverse-engineered from what reduced manual effort by 60%. Metrics drive architecture.

On Agents and Trust Boundaries

An agent is only as reliable as its tool contracts. I design agents with explicit failure modes: what happens when a tool times out, returns null, or hallucinates an action. In AgentBay, sandbox isolation isn't just security — it's a trust boundary that makes agents composable.

Shipping is the Proof of Work

A model that scores 95% on a benchmark but hasn't touched production data is a demo. I optimize for deployment from day one — FastAPI-wrapped, Docker-containerized, observable. The pipeline matters as much as the model. That's what distinguishes ML engineering from ML research.
